A family tradition dating back 250 years in Switzerland, these hand crafted leather collars are made from organic Swiss cow leather and adorned with hand cut and tooled brass decorations. The brass decorations are mixed with an alloy that keeps them from tarnishing or rusting (the exception is salt water). With proper care these collars will last a lifetime. *Collar comes in red leather and is 1" wide.
Red Leather Traditional Swiss Collar
Brush off dirt with a tooth brush. Use warm water and gentle soap (such as saddle soap or Dove) and scrub with a cloth in circular motions. After cleaning use a clean damp cloth to wipe the collar. Hang or lay flat to air dry while avoiding sunlight that could cause fading or shrinking. After the collar is completely dry, rub in leather conditioner and then polish with a clean, dry cloth.
